Join the NYCPS Social Studies Team and The Bridging Cultures group for a special presentation that aims to educate individuals on the history of Islamophobia and how it is reflected in our communities. It provides strategies on how to be an Up Stander for observant Muslims. It provides cultural sensitivity tips throughout the presentation, followed by Q/A. The workshop techniques can be used with anyone being targeted regardless of race, religion, or age.
