Sold Out Unpacking Passport to Social Studies – May 2025

Join members of the NYCDOE Department of Social Studies and Civics as they lead an unpacking of the Passport to Social Studies curriculum and materials. The session will focus on making connections between the Passport to Social Studies curriculum and the exhibitions and resources of the 911 Museum. Passport to Social Studies was designed by New York City public school educators and experts and incorporates principles of quality social studies instruction, diversity and multiple perspectives, and the importance of inquiry with the objective of preparing students for a global community. It is the only comprehensive K-12 curriculum developed by New York City teachers for NYC classrooms.
