During this professional learning session, participants will unpack the Passport program design and components while examining the skills focused on in the 10h grade Unit 4 Global History and Geography course, Decolonization and Nationalism. Professor Trevor Getz will deliver a keynote on decolonization in the 20th century in Africa and Asia. All participants will receive copies of the Passport to Social Studies Unit 4 Teacher’s Guide and Text Set and the book Empires and Colonies in the Modern World.
