Upcoming America 250: Declaring America: 1776 and Beyond

Join the NYC Social Studies and Civics Department along with the New York Public Library’s Center for Educators and Schools for a special professional learning opportunity considering America 250 Voices Then and Voices Now. We will explore the exhibit Declaring America: 1776 and Beyond. As one of the world’s foremost institutions committed to democratic access to knowledge—and as the repository of some of the country’s most important founding documents—The New York Public Library is marking the occasion with a sweeping exhibition occupying multiple galleries in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building and spanning 250 years of history. In addition, participants will unpack connections to our Passport to Social Studies, Civics for All, and Hidden Voices resources for classroom use.

Once your registration is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email.
