Join the NYC Social Studies and Civics Department along with the Center for Brooklyn History for a special professional learning opportunity. We will explore the landmark exhibit The Battle of Brooklyn: Fought and Remembered. Learn about how the voices of the American Revolution connect to the present and help shape our understanding of history. We will unpack connections to our Passport to Social Studies, Civics for All, and Hidden Voices resources for classroom use. The day will include a brief walking tour of the area as we will visit historic sites related to our America 250 theme: Voices Then/Voices Now.
Once your registration is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email.
