Upcoming Dos Suenos Unidos: Teaching Social Studies and the Arts with Frida & Diego

Join us for a robust professional development experience that bridges visual art and opera through a unique cultural collaboration. This workshop centers on the Museum of Modern Art’s exhibition Frida & Diego: The Last Dream alongside the Metropolitan Opera’s production El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego. Participants will engage in a guided museum tour, followed by an interactive session focused on social studies instructional strategies for integrating visual arts and opera into classroom practice. Educators will explore meaningful ways to connect students with interdisciplinary content, deepen cultural understanding, and enhance creative expression. Lunch will be provided.
