Expired LGBTQ+ History in Hidden Voices and Passport

This professional learning opportunity will utilize the Department of Social Studies and Civocs Hidden Voices publications. These resources examine individuals who are  often “hidden” from the traditional historical record. These individuals influenced the social, political, cultural, and economic landscape of the United States in so many ways, and their contributions continue to shape our collective history and identity. Using Hidden Voices: LGBTQ+ Stories in United States History as a model teachers will consider how the inclusion of diverse voices in the social studies curriculum enriches all students’ understanding of history and will explore how to surface additional “hidden voices” with their own students.

Once your registration is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email.
