Expired Unpacking Passport to Social Studies: 9-12, CRQ

Join the Department of Social Studies and Civics to unpack Passport to Social Studies grades 9-12 and explore its connections to the NYSED Regents Exam in Global History and Geography II. Passport to Social Studies was designed by New York City public school educators and experts and incorporates principles of quality social studies instruction, diversity and multiple perspectives, and the importance of inquiry with the objective of preparing students for a global community. It is the only comprehensive K-12 curriculum developed by New York City teachers for NYC classrooms. Participants will use the resources of Passport to Social Studies to create and share short-answer constructed response questions that facilitate Global History and Geography Regents preparation. Attendees will also learn about the resources and program opportunities provided by the National Archives Records and Administration.

Once your registration is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email.
