Upcoming Unpacking the Passport to Social Studies

Join members of the NYCDOE Department of Social Studies and Civics as they lead an in-person unpacking of the Passport to Social Studies curriculum and materials. Passport to Social Studies was designed by New York City public school educators and experts and incorporates principles of quality social studies instruction, diversity and multiple perspectives, and the importance of inquiry with the objective of preparing students for a global community. It is the only comprehensive K-12 curriculum developed by New York City teachers for NYC classrooms. This session will orient participants to the high school units in Passport to Social Studies.
