“Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.” Get on the bus and join TeachRock and the Department of Social Studies and Civics for a full day of professional learning dedicated to the Grateful Dead. Attendees will have an opportunity to investigate lessons and materials to help you teach about and through the Dead. This session, which is a part of the Rock and Roll Classroom PL 2025-2026, will explore using music as a primary source pedagogy, US History topics, and teaching disability.
Attendees at the Brooklyn Bowl event will receive lunch, lesson plans, and much more.
