The work of refining curriculum is never done. Finding the time to make meaningful space in your humanities curriculum for LGBTQ+ stories and voices can be a challenge, especially during the school year. Join the NYCDOE Department of Social Studies and Civics and New-York Historical Society as we explore our Hidden Voices resources and start the work of weaving LGBTQ+ stories into our curricula. This full day, in-person workshop at New-York Historical Society (170 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024) on May 7, 2024 from 9:00am to 3:00pm will include ample time to plan, process, and collaborate to build for our classrooms. Participants will receive copies of the Hidden Voices LGBTQ+ Resource Guide and Lesson Plans.
Once your registration is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email.
