Join the Social Studies and Civics team at the Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust for a professional learning session exploring the ways we use media to teach about the Holocaust. This will be the second of a two-part series. This session will include a special presentation by Prof, Marianne Hirsch. During the session, participants will review resources and strategies for building historical context. Participants will take part in a museum tour of their new exhibition, Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark and learn best practices for using museum resources in their classrooms. The day will also feature survivor testimonial.
